Deposit receipt tips

• Write the refund policy on the receipt itself ('non-refundable after materials are ordered'). Verbal deposit terms evaporate; written ones hold.
• Show the math: deposit + balance = total. Clients accept non-refundable deposits they can see are proportional.
• Date the balance due date, not just the deposit date. A deposit receipt without a due date is an open-ended promise.
